It's generally believed that all synthetic oil is purely man-made and not based on oils found in nature. This is a myth. Today's synthetic oils include purified and structurally modified crude or natural oil to improve performance.

Motor oils contain a carefully blended mix of base oils and several additives. Synthetic-based oil may be subjected to various chemicals and processes to boost the oil's performance at extreme temperatures and operating conditions.

Only selective additives that improve flow characteristics and lubricating quality in the harshest of conditions are used.

Refined crude oil is our conventional oil. To make its quality better, additives may also be carefully added.

Whether you choose synthetic or conventional oil, a periodic oil change is necessary. High-quality synthetic motor oils can perform and protect better than conventional motor oils, but engines running on diesel or gas continue to stress and contaminate the oil and its additives.
